Does the Chef rate include the cost of the food?
The food charge is over and above the Chef and/or Assistant rate – simply choose from our menus or tell us your requirements and we will give you a quote

Does the Chef bring all the ingredients or do I have to buy it?
The Chef brings all the ingredients

Do you cater for allergies?
Yes we do, gluten intolerant, wheat intolerance, diabetics etc

Do you cater for Vegetarians even of just one person in the party is a Vegetarian?
Yes we do. We aim to make the dinner special for everyone!

How much am I going to pay for the Chef?
You can book the Chef for a certain amount of time – e.g. 3 hours – no surprise bills at the end of the meal!

Do I need to pay a deposit?
We require a 50% deposit in order to secure your booking.

What does the Assistant do and do I need an Assistant?
We send an Assistant along upon request for 10 or more people. If you have your own Assistant we will not send someone with the Chef. The Assistant can act as a waiter/waitress, clearing up and serving drinks.

What if I am not happy with something?
Please advise the Chef or Assistant immediately. Alternatively, contact Chef on Wheels directly on 076 126 5308. The Chef will present you with an invoice at the end of the meal – please sign this invoice as acknowledgement that you accept the amount due and that you were happy with the service and food.

Do I tip the Chef/Assistant or Barman?
If you are happy with the service our staff would appreciate any gratuity.

Are you Halaal?
We cater for Halaal clients – as the meal would be prepared in the venue of your choice – we will bring all ingredients and make sure that everything is Halaal.
